Free Phone Consultation
We start with a quick phone call to learn about your dog, your goals, and what you're hoping to achieve. This helps determine if we're a good fit and gives you a chance to ask any questions before moving forward.
In Home Evaluation
Next, I come to your home to meet your dog in their environment. We’ll assess behavior, discuss goals in more detail, and I’ll recommend the most appropriate training package based on your needs. After the visit, you'll receive a detailed written evaluation and training plan summary to guide our next steps.
Training Starts!
Once you’re ready, we’ll schedule your lessons and get started. Everything is tailored to you and your dog—with a clear plan, ongoing support, and practical tools to help you succeed.
After the package
Training is not a one-time event—it's an ongoing process. As life changes and dogs move through different stages of development, occasional refreshers can help keep skills sharp, maintain good habits, and prevent small issues from becoming bigger problems.
That's where our Graduate Socialization Sessions and Tune-Up Lessons come in. These services are designed exclusively for dogs that have completed a training package with True Balance K9, providing continued guidance, reinforcement, and real-world practice to help your dog stay on track.

Exclusive to graduates of a True Balance K9 training package
During a one-hour Graduate Socialization Session, I will take your dog to a public environment and continue reinforcing the obedience, manners, and communication skills we have already established. These outings provide valuable exposure to everyday distractions while helping your dog maintain and strengthen their training in real-world situations.
Locations may include public parks, downtown areas, walking trails, dog-friendly stores, outdoor shopping centers, and other appropriate environments based on your dog's training goals and experience level.
Graduate Socialization Sessions are ideal for dogs who:
Need continued exposure and socialization
Benefit from confidence-building experiences
Are working through reactivity or environmental challenges
Need help maintaining obedience skills around distractions

Tune-Up Lessons are one-on-one sessions designed to revisit and reinforce the training your dog has already completed. Whether you're noticing some obedience skills starting to slip, facing new challenges, or simply want to continue progressing your dog's training, these sessions provide personalized guidance and support tailored to your current needs.
Tune-Up Lessons can be used to:
Refresh obedience commands and household manners
Improve loose leash walking and engagement
Reinforce place, stay, recall, and impulse control
Address minor behavioral concerns before they escalate
Troubleshoot new challenges that have developed since training
Strengthen communication and consistency between you and your dog
Continue advancing your dog's skills and reliability
